Recommended authentic Du’as

Du’a – After completion of Wudhu
Allahuma jahal-nee min at-tawabeen wa jahal-nee min al-muhta-ta-hereen

English translation:
“O Allah make me of those who are frequently repentant and of those who frequently purify themselves.”

DUA – After hearing the Adhan
Allahuma jahal-nee min at-tawabeen wa jahal-nee min al-muhta-ta-hereen

English translation:
“O Allah make me of those who are frequently repentant and of those who frequently purify themselves.”

DUA – Before Reciting Al-Fatihah
Audu Billah min As-Shaytan-e Rajim min Naf-khi-hee wa Na-fat hee wa Ham-zee

English translation:
“I seek refuge in Allah from Satan the outcast from his pride, his poetry, and his touch.”

Supplication requested by Abu Bakr from the Messenger (SAWS)
Allahuma Alim al Ghaibee wa shahaadah… fatir as samaawatee wal ard… rabo qul-ha shayin wa malika… as-shadu an la illah ha ila ant… awoodebekha min sharee nafsee wa min share as-shaytanee wa shirkee

English translation:
“O Allah knower of the Unseen and the Visible… originator of the Heavens and the Earth… lord and the owner of everything… I testify that there is none worthy of worship but you… I seek refuge in you from the evil of my soul, the evil of satan and his idolatry.” (To be said in the morning and in the evening)

DUA – Taught to Abu Bakr R.A by RasualALLAAH (SAWS)
Allahuma ini dhalam-to an-nafsee dhulman katheera… wa la yaghfiroo dhunooba ila ant… faghfirli maghfiratan min indik warhamni…inaka anta al-ghafoor ar-raheem

English translation:
“Oh Allah verily I have really wronged myself a lot…and none can forgive sins except you… so forgive me with your forgiveness and have mercy on me… indeed you are the oft-forgiving the most-merciful.”

ALLAH-huma ‘a inee alaiy dihkri-ka, wa shuk-rika, wa husnee ibad-dika
Allahuma ini dhalam-to an-nafsee dhulman katheera… wa la yaghfiroo dhunooba ila ant… faghfirli maghfiratan min indik warhamni…inaka anta al-ghafoor ar-raheem

English translation:
“Oh Allah help me to remember you, to be grateful to you, and to perfect my worship of you”
